So are we having a December meeting tomorrow night? Some of us weren't sure if the Winter Coder's Social was taking the place of it or not. I sent an email to drewish, but I haven't heard back from him yet.

Isn't it panels?
I thought we were getting a presentation on Panels this month.
Panels 2
Ah I thought the Winter Coder's event replaced the Drupal event so I marked giving the presentation down as the topic for the Jan meeting on my calendar. Hopefully that's the case as I have all my materials mapped out for the event - but not prepared for tomorrow. I have two D6 sites that we're building that are heavy users of D6 capabilities / features -- including panels.
Since it has been two months (I missed Steve's presentation unfortunately) -- is there still interest in having a hands on working session where we build a project management workbench using Drupal 6 with panels and views? If there's another common project that people would like to see built in D6 and panels let me know and I can switch the content around.
My preferred approach is that those who have laptops bring them - and we make this a very hands on tutorial like session -- where you walk out with a working panels/views driven D6 site.
Would you prefer to use your own implementation of D6 for the workshop or is there a general need for us to set up some number of Drupal instances for people to use during the workshop -- and potentially for other future workshop like topics? If folks would like to have a D6 environment up and running for them please post and let us know.

sorry
totally my bad on forgetting to post this. i wasn't sure who was presenting so i was trying to get one of the opensourcey peeps to do something. they're going to split it into two segments (that i'm told will be posted shortly). it'll be at their new offices.
sounds like todd has january covered ;) i'll post that as soon as the december one is up.
as steve noted, the coder's social is tonite, it should be fun time. i'm hoping to make it over there too.
