For the February meeting we're going to be doing a series of lightning talks. If you haven't seen this format before I think you'll enjoy it. Each speaker will have a fixed amount of time to present a topic. It could be showing off a module you like, showing of a site you worked on, or demonstrating a trick you've discovered.
I'll suggest 7 minutes as the time limit for each talk but I'm open to discussion on that point.
I want to encourage everyone to participate. It's a great way to give back to the community and and at the same time introduce yourself. If you're thinking that your topic might not be interesting to that many people, don't worry! I think you'd be surprised at the diverse interests of the group--and with the short time limit you can't bore anyone too badly ;) So if you've got a topic, post a comment below.
As always, the meeting promises to generate lots of good questions, answers and hands-on communication. Drupal meetings are free and open to the public.
We meet at the OpenSourcery offices at 1636 NW Lovejoy St. Portland, OR 97209. NOTE: Please be aware that the developers at OpenSourcery will be working right up to event time. We ask that you arrive between 5:50pm and 6:00pm. Thank you!
After the presentation finishes we'll walk over to the Bridgeport Brew Pub for a food and drink.
Please contact thomas@opensourcery.com or drewish for more information.

Could the presenters post notes for those of us who couldn't make it tonight? Looks like there are some great topics.

Attached are the jquery and css I used for transforming a panes in a panel into a tabbed-style display. Also, a slightly different working version can currently be seen here. After attaching those 2 files to the panel page (via drupal_add_css() and drupal_add_js()), the panel page itself is given a CSS ID (in this case, front-panel) and each pane that will become a tab is given a CSS class of front-tab.

Apparently only one file is allowed per comment...and it silently fails on more...and also silently fails on files ending in .js.
