Emma Jane has been building Web pages since 1996. She built her first content management system a little more than a decade ago and has been using Drupal exclusively for three or four years. In the world of Web design everything seems to change overnight. It's hard to stay on top of the latest technology and have time to build Web sites for your clients. In this talk she will share with you the five key changes that have allowed her to create better Web sites, for happier clients, and at a greater profit. Join us for hilarious horror stories of projects gone wrong and amazing success stories (like the time she got paid $750/hour to build a Web site).
About Emma Jane
Emma Jane Hogbin is well known in the Drupal community for her engaging presentations and kickass theming book, Front End Drupal. Her latest book, Drupal User's Guide, presents a decade of site building experience in an easy-to-read volume. (Yes, there will be a few free copies raffled off.) With contributions in Drupal's Building Blocks by Earl and Lynette Miles as well as her own workbooks, and a GPL Druplicon knitting pattern, Emma Jane earns her money the hard way: by teaching others how to profit from her experience.
