Hello Local Drupallers,

There's been some discussion around the group around having a meet up. I'm proposing we give it a shot.

For the first night, I think we'll just sit and chat about who is doing what and how we're using Drupal.

I invite anyone in the group to offer up or suggest a short technical presentation.

Since I don't really know what level we're all playing @, I'd rather make it an open forum for planning.

Please post up your comments and RSVP if you're able to.

For some odd reason, Google maps doesn't show this location properly.
It's the back door of the Scotiabank building right at the Armdale Rotary.

There should be plenty of parking at this hour.

Sorry I can't make the first Drupal meet-up. 3rd Wednesdays of each month are booked - but I'd be interested to drop-by another time/day to have a coffee and discuss Drupal, world domination, etc. and definitely on-board for the next meet-up. I'll watch/subscribe to this place!

i may have a project coming up that will use a maps module

have also been doing some cool stuff with cck, views and services

anyone else using those modules in combo?

am interested in talking to/with folks about extending view types and having them rendered using services

I've done some work with views/gmap/location, but I haven't really used much of the service module.

See you all on Wednesday. No particular discussion topic for me but have worked on projects that used cck/views/services, and ones that attempted to use gmap before it was ready for primetime (assuming it currently is), so hopefully will be able to contribute to discussion.

We chatted briefly about doing a session on views arguments. I still think that's a good idea.
