I've pulled the evening meeting times that were originally on here so as not to conflict with the parties that are going to happen...
Personally, I prefer earlier in the week...
In my experience, some Drupalchix can be shy, and often for about half of the attendees, this is their first Drupalcon. So I really like the idea of us meeting up as early as possible so we can continue to see faces we know throughout the conference and do networking, etc. :)
I propose lunch on Wednesday (the first day), because:
a) Food is good! :D
b) The slot after that doesn't have a woman presenter, so if we run over (which we invariably will), no one will miss their speaking engagement.
5 - 6pm Wednesday might also work. My only concern there is possible conflicts with evening events. The full schedule is still being penciled in.
Btw, I had to make domesticat an admin in order to edit this poll, so I went ahead and made a bunch of other people admins too. There was no real science to this, just if I saw your name in the list and remembered you helping someone or contributing to discussion. Other admins, feel free to add more. :)

Yes, I also agree having it earlier in the week is good - that way you get to know some people at the beginning of the conference rather than just before we all head home. Lunch sounds like a good idea, but if we have to go for a different slot, please ensure no drupalchix are presenting at that time.

I'm marking Wednesday afternoon for the same reasons stella and webchick listed. chat + food is always a great idea and I like the idea of being able to take longer if we all feel inclined.

I totally agree that lunch Wed is the best option, early so we know who is who and no conflicts with speakers. BTW, I notice that there are very few time slots that do not have a woman speaker, so is that cool or what?!! That wouldn't have been true a couple years ago.

Consensus! Wednesday at lunch!
Well, we had consensus, and then I tried to close off the poll and votes vanished. Weird. We had 18 voting for lunch on Wednesday, two undecideds, and one vote for a generic Wednesday time slot. Looks like everybody's getting what they wanted:
12:30 - 1:30 on Wednesday, location TBA. I'll scout for options next; I'll check Yelp for ratings, then find out which restaurants in easy walking distance can a) seat 20+ and b) take reservations. When I have those, I'll post a poll.
If you are worried about finding your peeps, send me a message and I'll give you my cell number. I'll have my camera rig with me and will plan on getting shots of us all together. (Pix or it didn't happen, y'know!)

It would also be nice to meet up for after-dinner drinks Th/Fri night, more informally. My friend from D.C. says 'busboys & poets' is really cool, and also that there is nightlife on 'U' street.
We can look up some places and discuss after our BoF get together. I think it would be nice to meet up again and see how our conferences are going.
