Start:
2009-03-11 18:00 - 20:00 America/Los_Angeles
Event type:
User group meeting

For the March meeting we'll have a short presentation by Tony Rasmussen. It'll continue a discussion at the January meeting on when to use Contemplate module vs. the Theme Layer.

After that I was hoping to have everyone who's going to DrupalCon in DC talk for a few minutes about what they'd seen and what got them excited.

As always, the meeting promises to generate lots of good questions, answers and hands-on communication. Drupal meetings are free and open to the public.

We meet at the OpenSourcery offices at 1636 NW Lovejoy St. Portland, OR 97209. NOTE: Please be aware that the developers at OpenSourcery will be working right up to event time. We ask that you arrive between 5:50pm and 6:00pm. Thank you!

After the presentation finishes we'll walk over to the Bridgeport Brew Pub for a food and drink.

Please contact thomas@opensourcery.com or drewish for more information.

Opportunity to talk

Hey Andrew,
I am planning to come to this month's Drupal group meeting and wanted to know if there would be time for me to speak about the 60+ multi-site Drupal release that my company just finished for http://www.pdx.edu.

I could discuss the scope of the project, provide a demo walk through of our development build of the system and answer any questions the group may have.

Do you think you would have some time for me to talk?

DrupalCampPDX 2009

Hi folks, I'd like to get together to discuss the state of DrupalCampPDX 2009 (in short, very good!), pick the dates, and split up the work. Last time "afterwards at the pub" did not work well. We could try and find a bit between the meeting and the pub (say 8:00-8:30), or meet separately.

What do people prefer?

Yes, maybe talking immediately after the meeting would work best. It might be too much of a hassle to try to find a different place to convene than the pub.
