The Drupal Association does not fund camps, & funds sprints only when they directly relate to D.O. These projects are still going to happen but funding must come from other sources.

For our design camp and any other items we have to have a budget request in to the Association by Friday so our target date is Thursday March 12th to have decided on our budget items.
Sprints and camps
European Catchup in Denmark | May 2009
- We need to get the old countries down on this D4D and the plans for D7 some time around the Danish camp would be good
- We have the organization in place, but we could use some money for renting projectors etc.
- We're working on sponsorships, but a little help would be good
- Required funding: $2000
Design Sprint in Austin, Texas | Date TBD
- Organization/logistics will be handled by Four Kitchens
- Required funding: $3,500 (based on Drupal camp budgets gathered from those who know)
DrupalCamp Austin in Austin, Texas | Date TBD
- Gathering of Drupalers in the Central Texas area (Austin, San Antonio). Will likely draw many others from Dallas and Houston.
- Organization/logistics will be handled by Four Kitchens
- Required funding: TBD
Design Drupalcamp in Boston, MA most likely an MIT venue | Early June 2009
- Budget for celebrity speakers from the design field, food, signage, and @mortendk's RedSox tickets.
- Required funding: $3,500
Drupal Design Challenge to get designers and themers to contribute new themes to the Drupal community
- Budget for publicity efforts outside the Drupal community
- Budget for cash prizes or equivalent
- Budget for PR efforts after the Design Challenge is finished
- Required funding: $5,000
Infrastructure and tools
Acrobat Connect Pro account
- Allows screen sharing for dozens of members on a call. Also can be used for training and webinars.
- Required funding: TBD
