A Greater Los Angeles Drupal member and organizer since 2010 and LA Drupal member since 2008 and organizer from 2008-2010, Christefano is a venue coordinator and a frequent presenter at Drupal meetups and conferences in and around Los Angeles, California. He was one of the lead organizers of both DrupalCamp LA in 2010 and Drupal Design Camp LA in 2011 & 2012.
Christefano also volunteers his time to help run and maintain the drupalcampla.com, ladrupal.org, ddcla.org, groups.drupal.org/dtla and groups.drupal.org/sgv infrastructure and helps his co-organizers fund raise and promote Drupal events all over Southern California.
As Los Angeles' self-appointed Drupal Adventure Guide, Christefano organizes the Greater Los Angeles Drupal meetups and the Drupal job fairs at Droplabs, a Drupal coworking and event space in Downtown Los Angeles, California, that he co-founded in early 2011. He also produced Drupal 7 Release Party: Los Angeles in collaboration with Lullabot, Drupal Everywhere: Making Mobile Websites with Drupal, a free all-day event in Downtown Los Angeles, California, and LA Drupal's Git with Drupal 7 event, which combined a free Git training with a Drupal 7 code sprint.
In addition to his work in the Los Angeles Drupal communities, Christefano is a Drupal core contributor to Drupal 5, Drupal 6 and Drupal 7, has been on the webmaster teams for Drupal.org and groups.drupal.org since 2008, and is a founding member of the Coworking, Time Banking, Greater Los Angeles Drupal, San Gabriel Valley Drupal, Santa Barbara Drupal, Drupal California, Broward Drupal, Ventura Drupal, Startups and Drupal Fit groups.

Christefano is CEO and Co-Founder of Exaltation of Larks. Having created his first weblog in 1994 and quite possibly the world's first built-in searchbox for web browsers in 1996, he continues today as an active developer and innovator.
In addition to being a long-time contributor and organizer in the Drupal community, Christefano contributes to a growing number of Drupal-related projects and is the creator of the Droplight distribution of Drupal for rapid website deployment. He is a Drupal core contributor to Drupal 5, Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 and has been on the webmaster teams for Drupal.org and groups.drupal.org since 2008.
In his volunteer time, Christefano is one of the most active organizers in the Los Angeles-area Drupal community and is a founding member of the Coworking, Time Banking, Greater Los Angeles Drupal, San Gabriel Valley Drupal, Santa Barbara Drupal, Drupal California, Broward Drupal, Ventura Drupal, Startups and Drupal Fit user groups.
Previous to his current work, he helped organize workshops and conferences for teenagers and led discussions about citizen journalism, intellectual property, and online identity and privacy rights. In yet another career, Christefano was a contributing writer and columnist for technology magazines and has been published in Macworld, MacAddict and MacDirectory. Even earlier in life, he was born naked and defenseless and managed to overcome all odds.
In 2006, Christefano was honored by Time Magazine by being selected as Person of the Year.
