যেহেতু ড্রুপল বাংলাদেশ গ্রুপ নিষ্ক্রিয়।
তাই আমি ঠিক করেছি এখন থেকে আমি ড্রুপল বাংলাদেশকে সক্রিয় ও জনপ্রিয় করে তোলার জন্য একজন মেনেজার বা মেন্টেইনার হিসেবে কাজ করবো।
আমি Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Wordpress নিয়ে প্রায় ২ বছর যাবত ওয়েব ডেবেলপিং এর কাজ করছি।
আমি একজন C, C++, Java এবং PHP প্রোগ্রামার।
আশা করি আপনারা সবাই আমাকে সাহায্য করবেন যেন ড্রুপলের মত অসাধারণ একটি টেকনোলজিকে আপনাদের সামনে আরো তুলে ধরতে পারি।

I like your enthusiasm. But requesting for maintainer at the very beginning .. isnt that too much to ask for ? I suggest start posting interesting topics discussions in the group. Once i tried to organize a workshop and did got a gr8 response. But did not able to make that a reality. Why not try that again :) ? what say you ??

That's great. And You are right.
Turning something into reality is tough and time consuming.
But my first objective is to make the group ready by adding as many wiki pages as I could.
So that people could come here and have something workable & see the group is alive.

I've just added a wiki page regarding how to setup on server.
But due to sever error when I saved it I lost all the writtings but no problem.

I think wamp or xamp would be little bit easier for the people to start.
They'll fear to start using drupal if they see the second suggested link.

hey , that link is for you .. :) .. virstualhost configuration is very easy to configure. You know what, add a new section ( best practices ) then include this in that. I liked WAMP then XAMPP when i was using windows (:P).. but to me uniserver is best for windows users. We better not start debate on which is great :) .. ppl should use the one that he/she is comfortable with.

A problem
Hi Dear,
I am facing a problem to build a movie website. I have used few fields to make a content type. Those fields are- Images, Movie name, Movie length, Movie year, description and starring. Now I want to put the image on the left of Movie name, length, year and starring. Movie description will be placed on the left on a new line as usual. This will be looked like-
IMAGE movie name
IMAGE movie length
IMAGE movie year
IMAGE starring

** I've used a code in the node.css of theme file. but it only let me put one field on the right side of the image. the code is->>> .field-item img {

padding-right: 10px;

for all the images apply {float:left; clear:left;}
and for all the text except body css would be {floart: right;}
for the body use {float:none; clear:both;}
Template and DS
Sometime you may face complex alignment that cant be fixed using : CSS and Field alignment from CCK. To achieve such complex layout there are two options :
Template Level: Say your content type is : movie . Copy your node.tpl.php in theme folder and create node-movie.tpl.php . Here you will get $node object which contains all fields datas. Now you can arrange the field presentation the way you like. Note: dont forget to clear the cache after creating node-movie.tpl.php. Read: http://drupal.org/node/1089642
This is a nice module: http://drupal.org/project/ds .. http://mustardseedmedia.com/ they have a nice video podcast on ds. Not sure why they no longer using ds ( i saw a tweet that paul dropped ds from the website ).
I personally prefer option 1 due to the control i get over the rendering.

দ্রুপাল নিয়ে কত বছর কাজ করেছেন, কতটা অভিজ্ঞতা আছে তা একটা ওপেনসোর্স কমিউনিটিতে ম্যানেজার/সম্পাদক/মডারেটর হওয়ার যোগ্যতার মাপকাঠি হতে পারেনা। এখানে দরকার কন্ট্রিবিউটন। তবে আপনার উদ্দেশ্যের জন্য সাধুবাদ জানাই।

neotohin ভাইয়ের অপশন ১ ধরে নির্দিষ্ট ফিল্ডের জন্য টেমপ্লেট বানাতে পারেন। এটা বেশি ফ্লেক্সিবল।
