  • Boston Design Camp: Lead organizer: Susan MacPhee

    • Dates and Location: June 13-14th at MIT in the Stata Center. Sponsored (location) by Media Lab.
    • Will follow basic camp guidelines: http://drupal.org/node/247972. However, may choose speakers ahead of time.
      -We have Lullabot on board,
      -Will invite Acquia (Jeff Noyes the designer), Ubercart (they are very interested in themeing/ecomm), local Boston talent. Marten King of Denmark, Development Seed, suggestions?
    • Need to decide how give camp presence on web. Suggest using simple as D4D webpage-add event and use wiki page registration.
      *Need to decide if camp is 1 or 2 days. If 1 day, we will use day 2 as theme sprint for 7
    • Will need to find sponsors, especially to help Marten fly in, food, ect. How do you approach potential sponsors?
    • Scholarships for high school/college students to provide for travel, accommodation?
    • How many registrations excepted? It's a free event, but will have donation button connected to new pay pal account. Have tons of room but more is not always better as suggested here: http://www.archive.org/details/DrupalconDc2009-DrupalcampHowToAndQA

  • Copenhagen in may

    • a seperate theming track is decided 2 days of geek n roll
    • looking for sponsors now - we hope to be able to invita a couple of "core" devs. (scholarships?)

  • Design/Code Pattern Library - I'm working on wireframes - where should this live on d.o? - Crystal/ccg
