bidding on Recovery.gov
I just found out through Sunlight Labs that recovery.gov just put out an RFP. Sunlight Labs is pulling people together to submit a bid of some kind. I thought some folks here might want to be involved in Sunlight Labs' project or throw their own hat in the ring.

How to convert posts from Blog Module to "Blog" Custom Content Type?
I've heard on several occasions, including responses to my last post on How to Segment Blog Personas, the recommendation to NOT use the core blog module, but instead to use CCK and Views to replicate the blog module functionality. This makes perfect sense, and I'm doing that going forward.
But what about a site that already has a bunch of blog posts using the core blog module? Has anyone successfully converted a bunch of existing blog posts from the Blog module to custom content types? Can anyone share step-by-step instructions?
We Need You! Drupal Design Camp needs Developers
Drupal Design Camp is next weekend! http://boston.design4drupal.org/
We need you!
We need you the amazing developers to come and give Drupal Fundamental sessions. This is our chance to support a genuine effort to improve designing in Drupal and grow our community.
Why?
A lot of the attendees will need a foundation laid before they can understand theming topics.
editablefields is a winner
Thanks everyone at Drupal Cafe tonight that weighted in with suggestions for my Views issues. editablefields (along with ajax_load) is a winner. It seems to work great for the survey tool I'm building, enabling people to edit nodes in a table-formatted view. It was also very easy to install and set up.

How to Segment Blog Personas
I want to maintain at least two different personas on my Drupal-based blog: (1) Professional (2) Personal. Naturally, each would have its own set of blog entries that generally would not intersect, although they might sometimes.
My question is: What is the best way to organize and display each of these personas as its own blog, and still be able to show them together in one blog stream when I want to?
