Start:
2012-01-19 19:00 - 21:05 America/Toronto How can site builders and developers improve the user experience on mobile of sites they build in Drupal 7? This session will cover seven (or even more!) steps to help ensure a consistent and friendly mobile experience for visitors of your Drupal 7 sites. Some of the topics I'll cover include:
- Turning your website into an application - without needing to go through an App Store, learn another language, or do anything particularly difficult.
- Improving the performance of your site for mobile (your desktop users will thank you too!)
- Ensuring that your mobile users aren't frustrated by your mobile features.
This presentation is intended for those with some Drupal experience, and are familiar with installing Drupal and contributed modules. Though the topics covered will be targeted at Drupal, most of them will apply in some manner to just about any website providing mobile functionality. We'll follow up with a roundtable discussion about building mobile sites with Drupal.
