On June 11-12th 2009, there will be a conference about Open Web technologies in Vancouver BC.

The site is absolutely gorgeous, designed by Malcolm a lady herself, yes confusing I know.

We would love to see the many talented ladies submit talks, talk submission deadline is April 15th.

In particular it would be lovely to have someone like webchick to give a keynote presentation.

Angie's presentation was awesome, tweets:

beanjammin: @webchick I agree with celeduc, Women in Open Source at #owv09 reminded me that we need to make the effort to involve more women in VanLUG.

celeduc: @webchick "Women in Open Source" was the best presentation at #owv09, by far. Embarrassingly, it surprised me. Thanks for giving it.

counti8: @webchick's keynote at #owv09 still terribly relevant, evidenced in responses to sexism at Flash confhttp://www.geekgirlsguide.com/blog/2009/06/11/98/prude_or_professio... via @zephoria

drupalwanderer: Was inspired by Angela (@webchick) during #owv09 to invest in Drupal as a community member and a Woman in Open Source :-) V excited.

robinpuga: Just got home from #owv09. Interview with @webchick sounds great! Thanks Angie! You rock my world! Will post when edited.
