HERE'S THE DEAL:
I have a broad background in technology (from mainframe programming to testing to desktop support). I am A+, Network+, and Project+ certified, but software is more of an interest and more up-my-alley than hardware and networking.
I have exposure to web development (e.g. completed a "Web Technology Essentials" 1 year certificate program at the University of WA; have taken courses in C#, .net, and SQL queries & programming), and have spent some time in CMSs (e.g. WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint).
I want to get into web development, preferably primarily front-end, with some reach into the back-end.
A few more things about me:
- Passionate about user and customer experience.
- Good eye for design (though I wouldn't call myself a designer).
- Excellent troubleshooter.
- Youthful middle-aged woman.
WHAT I AM SEEKING:
An opportunity to learn by doing. Structure and meaningful projects are helpful to me.
I'll work for "peanuts."
