Hello all!
I'm pleased to invite you to the launch and party for our community project, the http://rosecityresource.org site. OpenSourcery is kindly hosting a launch party for us on Saturday March 28th, 2009, from 3:30-6:00 PM. After months of work by several different communities and numerous individuals, the site is nearly done. (This Saturday we're finishing up content: http://groups.drupal.org/node/19597)
This will be an afternoon gathering of the communities and involved individuals to meet each other, celebrate what we’ve done, and, perhaps most exciting, PERFORM THE ACTUAL LIVE LAUNCH of the site that we’ve all been working on. (Sorry for caps, but yay.) If you've had anything to do with the project or are just interested we'd really love to see you there, srsly.
Feel free to bring significant others/family/friends. There will be food and drink and good people from Street Roots, the City of Gresham (my Americorps sponsor), the community, and YOU, the PDX Drupal UG.
