Hola. I have heard rumor that there may be a Drupalcamp in Argentina in June this year. It turns out that I will be in Brazil the weekend of June 20. I am going for a non-Drupal-specific conference and I hope to meet up with the local Drupalers and do a doc sprint there. I was thinking that if you happen to have a Drupalcamp the following week (sometime in June 22-29) in Argentina I could come down for that and do a doc sprint in Argentina as well. I don't know if you are planning yet or not, but please do keep me informed, as I'd love to have a chance to come hang out with you all.

Yes, the rumors are true! We are going to have a Buenos Aires (Argentina) Drupal Users Group in the next 10 days or so to report on DrupalCon and get approval and consensus on the June DrupalCamp.
Organizers are already contacting companies to get a list of candidate sponsors so we can present something concrete at the meeting we are going to have, and we will certainly have an invitation to you high on the list of items to talk about.
We'll get back to you right away on this!
BTW Central America and Brazil are having their camps in April, and Peru in September, so it's going to be quite a year :)
