Comparison of AddThis like modules?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Many social networking sites use AddThis like buttons. There are many modules for this in drupal. For example,
http://drupal.org/project/addtoany
http://drupal.org/project/sharethis
http://drupal.org/project/service_links
http://drupal.org/project/addthis

I did a search, but could not find an extensive comparison of these modules. One interesting comment was at http://www.trellon.com/content/blog/sharethisaddthis-slow-performance which says that Sharethis and Addthis have perfromance problems. On the other hand, service_links does not have such a problem. I could not find any comparison with addtoany.

Can you compare these modules?

AddToAny

Disclosure: I'm one of the maintainers of the AddToAny module and am from addtoany.com.

AddToAny is optimized to always load your content first in the event the user cannot reach static.addtoany.com.

If you're looking for additional merits to compare on the button itself, read the overview on addtoany.com and check out the Smart Menu functionality.

Feel free to ask if you have additional questions!

you may want to post this to "similar module review"

A quick comparison

I have used Service Links, Sharethis and AddToAny.

Service links cant honestly be compared to the rest since it functions differently.

The main differences between ShareThis and AddToAny are:
1. AddToAny's image is locally hosted, so it loads with the page.
2. AddToAny is smarter. It used the user's history to come up with button suggestions.
3. Share this is neater and better recognized by users.
