Panels 3 will not show content when promoted to front page

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hello, I'm kinda frustrated here, so maybe I don't understand exactly how to do this..
I made a panel node (3 columns) and promoted it to front page. Stuffed it with articles of course.
Now on the front page it only shows the title of the panel node but not the articles in it. On the node page it shows all as it should be. So how do I make it show on front page, I mean there is a "promote to front page" option so...

Thanks

Check the setting for Teasers or full articles.. The default promote to front page is for when you are not using panels.

I create my panel pages and put the content on a panel node then make that the front page. Every time I use the default blocks of my theme it conflicts with panels.

I am not that experienced with drupal so I'm not sure what u meant. It seem logical to me if I create content (any kind) and check "promote to front page" it should be there.
But in my case there only the title appears and nothing else. So maybe I'm not understanding the logic right, can u just tell me how to accomplish what I need:

Article teasers shown on front page in 3 columns. As it is on this note page here:

http://east-travel.co.il/ - here on front page you can only see the node title in the middle
