A Twin Cities Drupal User Group Project

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.
You are viewing a wiki page. You are welcome to join the group and then edit it. Be bold!

So, last night at the Drupal Happy Hour (which was a blast), I brought up the idea of doing a discreet project as the Twin Cities Drupal User Group. The whole idea being that we pick a finite project that we are interested in that helps the Drupal community and do it as a group. So, below are the list of ideas that we came up with, and any notes about each idea. There is a number next to some that people supported.

Here's what you do. This is a wiki page, so, you can just edit it and add your +1 to as many ideas as you like. Please be honest. I know this is not the easiest way to do this, but I like keeping it on groups.drupal.org. Just by the numbers last night, I would say Documentation Sprint is in the lead.

  • Build a module.(1)
  • Solve a specific patch. (1)
  • Code sprint. (2)
  • Usability testing for D7. (3)
  • Funny Drupal cartoon or comic. (1)
  • Documentation sprint. (6)
  • Drupal sticker campaign.
  • Group bug hunt. (1)
  • Work through a module queue. (2)
  • TC Drupal Camp. (5)
  • Review books.
  • Screencasts for documentation.
  • Drupal kvetch (complaining) sessions.
  • Build a site for someone (and maintain it). (2)
  • A how-to and webcast on AJAX.(1)
  • Drinking beer. (2)
