New Drupal 7 release this Wednesday, March 28! [POSTPONED to May 2]

Following post-DrupalCon code sprint goodness, there will be a new release of Drupal 7 this Wednesday, following our standard monthly release schedule.

Site owners are encouraged to update to the latest -dev release on their dev/staging servers to help us catch any issues in advance. Thanks!

Actually, upon further reflection, it makes more sense to hold this for an extra month. There are a couple of fixes that were committed either during or just after DrupalCon that could use a bit more vetting/testing first.

Since April 25 is during the Drupal.org upgrade sprint, the likely date of the next core release will be Wednesday, May 2.
