Greetings, Drupalites
I'm a PDX UI designer with 10 years of old school HTML experience trying to bring the best of Open Source form and function to my clients' websites. In the last year or two I've gained a good working knowledge of Drupal, but lack the Deep Magic. I'm hoping to partner up with a skilled backend developer who looks for signs of intelligent life beyond Minelli and Garland.
Revenue-wise, I'm bidding projects that range from uber-simple $1500 sites to $20k+. The sweet spot seems to be $5k-$8k. Talent needed: You're built for speed and you keep daylight hours. You have experience with a good number of contributed modules and know their strengths/weaknesses. Custom coding skills are a nice bonus but not required. (However, I DO have a project pending that will require some CiviCRM talent.)
Interested?

CiviCRM
Hi my name is Kate I am a drupal developer I just finished a CiviCRM install for Portland Area Business Association (PABA) www.paba.com and can help you with your project. I am familar with working with modules and integrationm, and have a working knowledge of what is good and bad. I can do custom coding when needed but usually can find a module or tweak one to do my bidding.
I have attached my resume for your consideration.
I do work daylight hours, my dogs get me up at 430am. I ride two horses in the afternoons other than that I am pretty normal. I dont know what would be beyond Minelli and Garland except maybe Izzy Izzard.
Lipstick & Powder: Revisited
Hello, Kate
Gadzooks, it's been ages since first posting this request. I hope you're still around/available! I have a red-hot project on deck. Not tremendously well-funded, but I definitely have some cash available to throw at a clever cohort.
I'm helping the Oregon Health Network go from this: www.oregonhealthnet.org to the attached sketch. It may be more of a curse than a benefit, but the new design is based upon a prefab thing from TemplateMonster.
You'll notice that the biggest change is moving the nav out of its nested spot up to the top of the page. Ideally these would be dynamic menus able to go up to 3 layers deep.
The next biggest challenge will be reducing the depth of the masthead for all internal pages. I'd also like to assign a different banner graphic for each new page if necessary. They should be able to browse the server for existing images or upload a new one as needed. OPTIONAL - It's not a huge item, but I'd also like to employ some JavaScript to run a slideshow for the main masthead graphic (home page only).
Here's the catch: We'd like to go live ... [gulp] October 1. Is this something that might interest you? Would you have time for a powwow some time this week? I'll gladly supply the template package or layered PSD if you'd like a closer look.
Thanks for your consideration,
Julie
