Hey all,
I'm expecting to be in Wellington in 4-5 weeks. Currently in Arthur's Pass and heading out for the Lewis Pass area today. For those that don't know I'm walking the length of NZ to raise funds for the Christchurch earthquake appeal trust, Womans refuge and the NZ skeptics Society.
I'll be looking for work for the winter period to top up the bank account and finish the walk before the end of the year. If anyone has any work, get in touch. I can work anywhere. Homeless and mobile. Until I finish this run to Wellington my net connection will be very intermittent. I'm not ignoring you if I don't reply promptly. Most of the time I don't even have cell coverage.

The South Island is
The South Island is completed. :) Finished it at 10am on May the 4th (be with you.)
So, I'm currently in Wellington and on the hunt for work for 4 months. I just need to up the bank account so I can afford to finish the walk. The current plan is to start again at the end of August.
If anyone has any capacity for an experienced Drupal developer for this time don't hesitate to ask. I'm available for immediate start.
My primary skill set is PHP development and LAMP stack management which I've been doing since 2001. For the last 3-4 years I've been focused on Drupal. I often refer too Drupal having 3 distinct skill sets; themer, builder and developer. I would fall into the builder/developer role rather than the themer.
If you currently have need of either of these skill sets, or someone comfortable with bespoke PHP, MySQL admin and/or Linux admin I am available for immediate start.
