I know this group is focused on the Front Range area. However, does anyone know of a Fort Collins specific group. It would be cool to meet up with some local Drupal developers. (without the commute to Denver!)

I'll mail the people I know near FoCo and let them know about this. I think it would be reasonable to post your meeting announcements within this group. We can expand the group title from "DBUG" to being a broader Colorado group if that would make you feel more at home.
3 years ago I sent out a bunch of e-mails to people saying "let's meet at this time at this place" and ~15 people magically showed up. Now we have 252 members in this group ;) All you have to do is announce it and send some mails and maybe cross post to some related FoCo based groups (meetup.com helps) and it happens.

I think the best place to start would be the FCIP Meetup group. There are a couple of us in there that do Drupal, but I think we are out-numbered by the Joomla-ites. You never know, maybe we can bring more over to Drupal. FCIP has a pretty strong following and have recently broken up into a Technical and Entrepreneurial track with alternating meetings about every other week - Followed by good beer of course.

FCIP is a great meetup that covers a broad range of internet stuff (with plenty of people pimping their services) - but I too would like to have more opportunity to talk geek with other drupal users. It's tough for me to get out to ft. collins more than a few times a month, but if there were a solid group of drupal users I'd be in.

Thanks for the input guys. I will try to attend some of the FCIP technical events. I am looking at gaining more skillz within Drupal and hope I can gain that through this group. We will have to show those Joomla-ites what's up. However, I do have to admit I have used Joomla in the past. :) It's easier for the newb's of the world to learn.

Not as many attendees at the fcip technical events as the fcip entrepreneurial track. The next event is the FCIP Ignite event - not sure if you can still get tickets for that.

I also don't get to Denver much and would be up for talking with fellow Drupal geeks here in Fort Collins on occasion. We could meet at FCIP or dork out someplace else, depending on what everybody is into.

I live in Loveland and would love the convenience of a meeting in Ft. Collins. I'm a Drupal newbie and hobbyist so I wouldn't have much to contribute other than I could show everyone how not to do stuff. I've never been to any meetings and Denver is a little too far at this point (my schedule is too hectic right now), but I would probably be able to make a Ft. Collins meeting.
