Hi all,
I am very new to drupal and I got a project to be complete in a very short time. I wonder is there any biological taxonomy modules for adding in my open public site?? And please englight me how to install it to my site?? thanks

Species taxonomy
We rolled our own formal and informal biological hierarchical taxonomies to display species information at http://observeyourpreserve.org/species. This is for species in a relatively small area (county). I could certainly see value for developing a module that connects with http://www.itis.gov or other standards.

Hi jrmarsha, the site is awesome along with the integrated map for each species. It is exactly what I need for my project. The site use open public? How did you guys rolled formal and informal biological hierarchical taxonomies?

It is not OpenPublic. It utilizes standard Drupal with a fair amount of custom module and database work.
