Aggregate and compress CSS files

I have to enable Aggregate and compress CSS files for my content body to accept the javascript and work in IE but this tends to break the responsiveness of OMEGA where if I change browser size I have to reload the page say turn my phone from portrait to landscape. Where I did not have to before. I don't think this is due to the 31 CSS issue or the 4095 styles in a css issue that IE has because with the Aggregate and compress CSS files off it renders all my CSS below the column styles. Any Ideas?

Check for CSS errors

I had some weird issues with menu items disappearing when I aggregated CSS files. It turned out I had some syntax errors in one of my CSS files. Standing alone the error did not propagate and was not even noticeable in terms of appearance, but when the CSS files were merged the effect of the error spread.

I ran my CSS files through the W3C's CSS validator: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/, and it clearly pointed out the error.

Thank you for your response
