Drupal Johannesburg event reminder: Wednesday 10 June 7pm

Don't forget about the next meetup that's going to be held on Wednesday 10 June ( http://groups.drupal.org/node/22681) where we'll be discussing how to grow the group, and recruiting some volunteers to help with group leadership.

On the more fun side, we're got 2 showcases:

Greg will be showing us ArtClub.co.za which was created within less than a week and a half using CCK, Views, QuickTabs, Organic Groups, & Panels in Drupal6. The site caters for the artistically inclined South African featuring Art Schools, Artists, and in time Art Galleries.

George will be taking us through a site he's currently working on. It's a mobile site that allows users to create their own lists of bookmarks and feeds.

The areas of the site that make it interesting in terms of development are:
- use of FeedAPI
- ApacheSolr for search
- Device detection which chooses a theme based on the device's display width
