Call for Topics:
Please reply with suggested topics for our June Drupal Accessibility Skype Meeting. Since the call is 3 days before the Montreal Accessibility Sprint, should we use the call for people to talk about what they want to work on at the Sprint? Reply to suggest any topics.

Anyone interested in working on Accessibility using Drupal is invited. This a regular monthly event the Second Tuesday of each month.
The call is a voice conference call on Skype. We'll be asking for a volunteer to post notes to the g.d.o. group so that people who could not attend can still review the notes and post comments. We will try to limit the main agenda to one hour.

Again I have to send regrets. Other commitments keep me from attending. I will be in Montreal for the sprint. I will arrive late Thursday and stay until Sunday evening.

Would be great to spend some time talking about the sprint.
Drupal 8 is another focus of course.

@mgifford, since you are involved in hosting the Sprint in Montreal, can you lead a brief discussion/prep session for the Sprint on Tuesday's Skype call?

would you mind if I sat in on this call ?
I sat in on a couple of calls maybe a year or so ago. I work to author technical standards supporting personalisation for accessibility (such as IMS AccessForAll, ISO/IEC 24751 etc.). I appreciate you guys are all working hard for the Sprint event and my plan is not to disrupt that but to just sit quietly and listen.
This helps me stay in touch with what you are doing with the platform - down the line a bit I may make the argument for doing some personalisation work in Drupal and contribute to that, but not right now.
I'm not sure how to join the call but I'm on your skype contacts so if you could pull me in that would be great.

Wish I could be there
Work is hairy. With us being a Plone shop, my involvement with Drupal isn't appreciated. Taking an hour of personal time midday for a CMS we aren't using is frowned upon. Heck, even taking a couple of hours of personal time on a Friday morning to participate in improving the W3C WAI's education and outreach materials was viewed as frivolous diversion from being here 9 to 5.
I'm looking for a better situation and hope to be able to participate more then. In the meantime, I'll try to do a better job of checking the minutes to keep up with our progress.
