I just noticed that the Labour party is now using Drupal on their main website:

Does anyone know who worked on this? It would be great to see a write up about it.
See http://www.labour.org.nz/user for the give-away; Garland's local-tasks/tabs use Garland's default colour. Interestingly they've made the common mistake of using Garland as a starter or base them. Ugh!
If you didn't already know, beehive.govt.nz has been on Drupal for a while and the Green party, runs their main website on Drupal, advocates free software and also use Drupal and CiviCRM heavily.

Oh wow! I just checked the other parties' websites, none of the others are Drupal sites, though NZ First is being rebuilt (possibly on Drupal?). That means 3/7 (or 3/6 excluding NZ First) represented parties (representing 57/122 seats) are on Drupal – that's very-nearly half!
See http://theyworkforyou.co.nz/parties (not a Drupal site)

ACT was the first to use Drupal. I think I did the first implementation in 2005 or perhaps even 2004.
Local Government - Hastings District Council
As per a screen shot of their upcoming site the HDC has gone the Drupal way (see logo).
