Has S3 upload support gone missing from the latest release of the Video module? We just updated to Video 7.x-2.6 and there's no sign of the Output file base field in the Transcoder tab. It was there when we were running an earlier dev release. All requirements (Libraries module, Zencoder php library, etc) are present and were working just fine prior to the video module upgrade.
I've found working with the video module to be more than a little frustrating because it seems to be a moving target, with outdated documentation. I'd be happy to contribute some time and write up some new docs, but I'm not even sure what featureset is currently supported.

Found it, but still broken as hell
OK - missed the part in the 2.6 release notes that mentioned that upload destinations were moved to the content type. That's great.
However, now I'm running into an issue where the postback handler doesn't migrate the video to my Amazon S3 bucket. And if I use the video scheduler.php method as opposed to Drupal's built-in cron, Zencoder ends up getting an incorrect source URL and can't download the file ("default" instead of my site's actual URL, even though I'm appending the correct URL on the command line, e.g.: "php video_scheduler.php http://my.site.com/").
In short, working with the video module is incredibly frustrating. I had everything working nicely two releases back and now it's gone to hell. At this point I'm going to start looking for a replacement because this sort of "now-it-works-now-it-doesn't" behaviour is not acceptable for a production system.

I was having this issue too and then I noticed this message on the video module page:
Zencoder recently released version 2.1.0 of their API. The Video module is not yet compatible with this version. Please use 2.0.2 until further notice.
I swapped out the library and now Zencoder is correctly posting the video to s3.

I'm researching what module to use for a new media-heavy website. Based on the installs I was hoping the video module would be the right choice, but the frustrations, the learning curve, the piece meal documentation scattered all over the web...I think I'd rather just buy something.
The learning curve and quirks of this module are murdering my schedule instead of saving it.
Major ouch!
