The Drupal Atlanta group is having a Drupalcamp. It would be great if we could get a Triangle group to make the trek.

Drupalcamp Atlanta is an attendee driven, completely volunteer initiative modeled after the open, participatory nature of barcamps. The event is catered towards those who have a like-minded interest in Drupal or simply want to find out more about Drupal in general. The format will involve a mixture of advanced planning and impromptu breakout sessions. There will be two tracks – one geared towards beginners and the other towards more intermediate to advanced Drupal users.

Triangle Drupal Camp

What happened to the idea of having a bootcamp here in the Triangle to get some of the new users up to speed. Did I miss it?

We were hoping to do a Drupal "bootcamp" this summer but unfortunately, we weren't having much luck rounding up sponsors or finding an affordable location and we didn't want to have to charge folks to attend, so we decided to shelve the idea for a few months. :(
