Does anyone know if the DrupalCamp Toronto is a go? There was talk that it might not be on this year.

August probably not a go

There was a venue selected for 15 and 16 August. However, for the features they offered, it was too expensive, and there was not much time for organizing a proper event. So that date is most likely no longer an option.

Another date (October, Open Source Week perhaps) and venue are being explored where we have time to organize a good event.

Please send me questions

I got a set of questions, but not enough to fill 2 hours.

So, are we on for Aug 20, or is everyone enjoying Summer?

If I don't get enough questions for Aug 20, then we will push this session to September. I will post on the 18th the status.

Could you post what you have

Could you post what you have so far? That might spur some ideas.

Or, if you think you have enough for an hour, we could do a shorter meeting followed by dinner / drinks afterwards. Thoughts?

Rescheduled to September

Only one person sent me questions for this session.

Two people showed a preference of it moved to September as well.

So, THERE WILL BE NO AUGUST MEETING ON THE 20TH.

See you all in September. Please send me questions on what you want answered/discussed.

Here it is August 20th... I will stay at The Working Centre until 7:30pm just in case anyone shows up who isn't following the list or this thread. I haven't been following the thread and had a few questions about Views, but they can be answered another time.

Thanks all.

Notice on the door?

Is it better to put a notice on the door, rather than you staying?

Hello all!

A reminder that we are all set for our meeting on Thursday 17th.

You have one more day to send me questions (kb at 2bits com).

This is not to say that you cannot ask questions in the meeting, by all means do. But the ones we get ahead of time has more chance of being answered if they need research.

See you all tomorrow.

Thank you Khalid and Andrew for answering all the questions last month. I have a follow up question related to one of the questions that was brought up about in-line editors. Khalid mentioned that I stopped using TinyMCE (and I'm finding myself increasingly thinking I may do the same). Using TinyMCE on one of my sites with the image_assist and WYSIWYG modules and I'm finding that things just don't look correct.

When an image is inserted any text after gets pulled up below the image and appears to be part of a caption, instead of a separate paragraph. I also find that TinyMCE just doesn't seem to do paragraphs well. Using filtered html, so it may be part of the problem. I am the only one posting at the moment, but my wife, and some friends might end up helping out with content, so I'd like to keep TinyMCE.

Hi I think your problem is

Hi
I think your problem is solvable, check out https://www.gatevillage.net/public/anon/quick-image-test which shows an inline image aligned in the middle, put in by TinyMCE. If I understand your concern correctly, it certainly can be done.
