and this year's conference t-shirt is...

you know it already anyhow! :-)

Congrats for the Drupal Invasion in Paris.

Only local images are allowed.

We will take a blue t-shirt (somewhat close to your background) or any other suggestions?

Thank you to webdevil and jburns, who were close.

The limited edition t-shirts will be:

All on black?

Oh yes, we need the right format, please. (simply contact the team)

And here goes a BIG thank you to everyone who participated and showed the community their talent.

PS: Something important: What kind of licence shall we put all the designs under?

Limited Edition

From a purely aesthetic point of view, the second limited edition design would probably look a lot better on white.
It's such a beautiful design, and colour matching is an important detail...

hook_world_alter() !

The hook_world_alter() one is great, so tongue-in-cheek... How will one obtain the limited edition tees like that one ?

nice designs

besides the fact that I cannot stand black - for T-shirts, cars, or whatever. Black is the color for grief. Dark blue would be nicer, but I know it is not fashionable. And keeping that in mind, please don't do all in black.

Is there a chance to have a look at the other designs?
I liked the way it was done for Szeged2008. They had so many georgious designs it was hard to vote for only one. And I think it would be nice for the people who contributed to be able to show their design to the world.

answers for the above

charlotte: its noted :-) thanks

fgm@drupal.org: we will put a system in place (either online or...) haven't figured it out yet. but this one is already very popular :-)

confetti: what other colours do u think could go with the "Dropin" for example? (the last one, dark blue seems to clash with the colours). you can check out the other designs here. we limited it for logistics reasons, but as we haven't figured out what kind of licensing we use, we can always reuse the other design at a later stage.

Thanks

for the link and the information. I see there are many nice logos on the other page.

As for the T-shirt color: depending on the logo; in general I prefer dark blue, (drupal blue), white, "broken" white (=ecru?), sometimes even a not too bright darker red is nice. And I think according to the color theory and what best fits most people, ecru and dark blue fit most people. (Besides: I love a shocking pink (logo) and know this is best paired with a black background to look its best. But I know pink is not fashionable.)

In the cases above I think it might be sth like black or white or saying it in other words: the backgrounds of the logos above.

P.S.
Speaking of colors that fit:
not many people can wear brown :-), it took me a while to figure, why people told me I looked thick. That was when i wore a brown top (= near my face).

Colours

mrsimonelliott's picture

I would ask the artists what colour they would prefer to see their work on, they probably had something in mind when they made their designs. I just hope I can get my hands on one of them.

BTW I have a nice brown tee shirt, I hope people don't think I look thick when I wear it ;-)
