Swimming in the Talent Pool

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Avast! We're not crusading to cart off with Drupal Ninjas, but we're happy to pillage the general talent pool to find someone interested in jumping into ours. The skinny? Right now we're looking for any Drupal developers in the area (Louisville, KY) who would be interested in hopping into our talent pool. We keep the water warm and the rum handy, and if you play nice we give out gold doubloons for Christmas!

I'm heading up the Ubercart project (http://www.ubercart.org), and we're on the lookout for module developers in the area who would be interested in full time in-office employment. We're not ruling out the need to hire telecommuters in the future, but we're specifically looking for local talent at the moment. Our development staff is constantly congregating around one desk or the other and in the break room to chat and brainstorm, and it's very handy to be able to shout to your neighbor and ask him what in the world his code is doing... Ubercart is a complex system of modules that we hope, over time, to make less complex and even more useful. We just need more man hours than we have to get it all done.

Contact me through my contact form to get in touch. You can call me Ryan or Cap'n, your choice. ; )

Feel free to ask questions about the Ubercart project here or in the forums at http://www.ubercart.org.

Just a quick note to welcome aboard our new matey, Shawn. He'll be developing some independent sites and modules for us that will ultimately use or be used by Ubercart. Woohoo!
