Classifieds ads feature in the e-Commerce Module

Hi,
I wanted to know if the following is possible in the e-Commerce Module.

  • Ability to provide users to post ads of items they wish to sell. This would be more like the classifieds feature in which they create an account but may only place one ad with their contact details. I want vendors to be able to upload items in their store and have people be able to either purchase it online or order by phone. But I would also like to allow normal individuals to upload items they wish to sell and have buyers find them.

I'm interested to know if this feature or if this functionality is there in the ecommerce module or if there is something that can be integrated into it.

Please let me know how I can get about this as it would be much appreciated.

Hi Anila,
Thanks for your response. To further understand you have this type of feature available? I have my own Classifieds website but am looking to move to an ecommerce framework to provide multiple vendors plus classifieds for individuals. Do you mind sharing with me what you are using or what's recommended. I understand so far in Drupal the ecommerce module available is Ubercart which is supposed to be a good one?
