This month we had one presentation on related content displays.
Jay Epstein (@jeppy64) spent most of the meetup talking about using taxonomy and views for creating related content displays. The demo site created for this presentation: http://bdug.drupalgardens.com/
Jay started off by creating a taxonomy called channel. He added terms Membership, Related Events and Upcoming Events. He then went to several content types and added the channel field as a term reference. The last piece was to add contextual filters to the block displays in views. He used several examples to show us how this great technique can be used on all Drupal sites.
We had no remote participants via Skype/Join.me and nine in the meeting room. The rest of the meetup was spent answering everyone's questions on the projects they are working on.
