http://www.drupalcampnj.org/ is a Drupal Camp held at an educational institution. In my mind, there had better be a lot of Drupal in education fans there! Planting this flag in the ground to let others know I'm going but mostly to provide an initial discussion thread as to what topics people would like to cover in BoFs at the event.
It's Feb 2nd and cost of the event is 20 dollars but more importantly, what do people want to talk about while we are there? If you in education or interested in education / edtech and Drupal please lend your voice / opinion to this thread. I'm very excited to be going and hope to meet up with lots of Drupal in Education forum buddies while there!
Possible formats: Show-and-tell, Round-table w/ moderator to keep discussion going, specific topics, or unconference style micro groups. Have been to BoF / Camp / con's previously and have had success with all formats. Personally my vote would be for multiple BoF's with 1 of each of the first three formats (at least) but that'll depend heavily on interest / turn out.
Let's use this thread to get things kicked off so we have a game-plan when we get there. Also if anyone is up for events / dinners either Friday or Saturday let me know.

I would love to see how other institutions share various content (Faculty info, media, news/events, courses, etc) from one Drupal site to another.

loving RestWS at the moment, that's what I'm using to get course data shared between systems. Really you can do it for anything you can model though because it works with entities (only entities which is the difference between it and services) -- https://drupal.psu.edu/content/powering-education-restws-and-views-xml-b...
I'll be talking about that at least somewhat in my presentation but data management and interconnectedness could be a very good discussion. Somewhat related I'd be interested to see how people are doing access and identity management (LDAP, Shib, Co-sign, etc) and the degree to which they've got it integrated with Drupal.

Thanks for starting this off Bryan. Either in a BoF or if we can just catch up for a chat I would like to discuss ELMS version 7.

I'd recommend a chat if you want to actually use ELMS in D7. I've had a bit of a change of heart on the whole "basing your entire life off of OG". As with everything there are plusses and minuses but maybe that could be more of an "architectural decision making" topic so that it's not singularly focused on the ELMS distribution. OG vs Multi-site vs aegir vs domain access vs Vsites vs using a distro vs stock drupal are all important inflection points in making any new system imo.
