结合之前的调查结果 和上海社区对Drupal贡献、培训、代码审查和其他资源的强烈需求，我们正考虑把第一场Workshop活动安排在下个月 (2013年2月) 的某个周末（例如周六）。
具体日期待定。初步设想过完春节后，2013年2月23日，周六开始Workshop系列第一场活动。根据实际举办情况和参加人数，我们考虑之后每月定期举办一次workshop，这样大家在每周的工作日以外就有更多活动选择。
在周末举行活动的好处是时间上相对充裕，方便开展更多讨论，这是Drupal meetups和Happy Hour events都很难做到的。（类似评论见：工作日+周末如何？[中文]/What about both?[英文])。

Thanks very much for sharing your concerns and you opinion.
At the light of the previous survey and given local community's increasing demand around contributions, common initiatives, training, code reviews and additional resources, we were thinking of starting next month (February 2013) an initial workshop event that would take place during the week end, in particular on Saturday.
We will most likely be discussing the dates further a little bit later, but we were thinking of starting this workshop series on Saturday, February 23, after the official dates for the Chinese New Year. Depending on how it goes, the number of people interested, we would try hosting the event on a regular basis every month, which would give everyone other alternatives to participate to events other than during the week.
Holding the event on the week end would also provide much more flexibility to cover different discussions, scopes of work, which is much harder to achieve with the Drupal meetups or Happy Hour events with a rather limited amount of time (More details at: 工作日+周末如何？[CN]/What about both?[EN]).
You have been heard and we will certainly get back very soon with more events to be held on the week end, for which we will expect that you will be joining us.

People would come only if they work near by, otherwise, it's too tired to attend this after taking 1 more hours bus. I happened to have time on every Wednesday.

令人人满意没那么简单 / Not easy to always please everyone
又是一个不错的新想法！
不过想要令人人都满意也确实挺难的……
如果交通不便，还有一个参与社区互动的渠道不知您是否听说过, 中国社区的lugir每月都会组织在线交流会，详情点此：2013年1月26日第八次Drupal在线交流会。
另外要说明的是，我们不打算周六一整天都用来发言，而是更倾向于借鉴Drupal 香港社区的做法（请看HKDUG Coworking Day & Meetup JAN 2013），采取若干次对话或若干个共同合作组的形式，这样更有弹性。
据我了解，已经有几家公司对此感兴趣。但我们还需要在内容组织和对话安排上优化。
此外，一次周三、一次周末的形式可能也会有 其他问题 ，我想难免也会产生一些抱怨。
时间的问题可能更适合在Drupal线下聚会(meetup)在什么时候举办更适合你参加？讨论。目前投票结果比较平均，没有出现绝对多数。为 本地Drupaler 提供更多参与 meetup 和 workshop 的机会，也是为了尽量让每个人都满意，使我们坚持了很久的每周三活动可以坚持下去。

But as you know, it's very hard to always try to please everyone, unfortunately....

Besides, we wouldn't be looking at booking the full day on Saturday, with presentations and such, but rather making it something closer to what they're doing in Hong Kong, see:
HKDUG Coworking Day & Meetup JAN 2013, more flexible with different sessions or working groups.
I would already know several companies that would be interested in joining efforts in such kinds of initiatives in Shanghai. But we need to do some more work on the organization of the contents and structure of the sessions.
Besides, changing once on Wednesday and once on Saturday would also have other drawbacks and I'm sure that some might complain as well.
This is probably something to be further discussed at Drupal线下聚会(meetup)在什么时候举办更适合你参加？ and at the light of the results of the survey, it still seems to be quite balanced (no landslide). Therefore the idea of adding another chance for local Drupalers to join some kind of meetup or workshop, is to try to get closer to making everyone happy without disrupting what already exists on Wednesdays.
We would greatly appreciate to get your feedback on this and if you would have other ideas, recommendations or comments.

Dude! You could help us drive some great initiatives:
Obviously, we are certainly going to need some more Senior profiles, to be able to drive Juniors and also mentor or help on code reviews ([constructively] destroying others' code :-)), testing or coding on bigger initiatives, etc...
We're all very much looking forward to that and we'll get back to it in a different post.... I'm having the feeling all these discussions are rather off topic in here :| ....

Pretty much, as you saw in the event's summary, we're meeting at Oscar's Pub,
wich is very close to the metro station Chang Shu lu on line 1.
Feel free to check Google map's link.
So if I were you, coming from Shang Cheng lu, line 9 metro station, I would go directly to Xu Jia Hui, line 1 station, then change for 2 stations to take line 1 until you get to Chang Shu lu station.
I guess it would also work fine from lujiabang lu station line 9 to chang shu lu station through line 7. Feel free to look that up a bit further.
