I installed the "text resize " module into the corolla theme and the buttons to increase and decrease text size dont do anything. Is there a better module for this that I can use? thanks

Forget text resize
Use variable sizing for your text - ems or % - to enhance accessibility for all users. Then, you won't need a font resizing widget. See the documentation at Webaim.org: http://webaim.org/articles/gonewild/#options

Diana, nenamoss is right on target. But there is one thing more you can do to help visitors to your site who need larger text. On his website, <a href="http://openconcept.ca/>openconcept.ca Mike Gifford (mgifford) explains how to use the operating system's commands to change the text size.
The people who use your website will appreciate it, because not only your website but also all the rest of their online experiences will work better for them from then on.
It's also good that you're using Corolla as your theme. As people increase the size of the text, your layout should respond well to their viewport. In it, Jeff Burnz has developed a powerful tool for building wonderfully responsive designs. With it, you should be able to do everything necessary to make your website work for everyone.
