It is nice to have another drupal camp in Pakistan.

We are going to have a DrupalCon next year, if we held this event successfully.

We need to have a pre session in the middle of February to appoint the volunteers.

Shah g, definitely you don't need to be surprised, we know your participation in Drupal. Regarding your offer to replace COD is nice, but I will consult with Baba g Khoomy for this. As we have very less time left to live the site. We are already behind the schedule.

It would most probably in last two weeks of March. We are actually in process to find a better Venue and in contact with multiple institutes at Lahore. As that get finalized, we will announce the Venue and date.

Regarding sponsorship we will soon talk to you as that is most needed to arrange such an event.

I am planning to attend this camp, I am very much uncertain about my participation but there are 80% chances I will be there. Please provide me details of the contact person and the location.

Also Let me know what are the topics.. I can also present my experience of deploying Drupal in Large Enterprises. Just a little background,
- I have developed enterprise portal for 90,000+ users @ Verizon Wireless USA.
- I have developed enterprise intranet portal for Saudi Business Machines an IBM representative
- I was part of the multisite blogs project in World Bank DC
- Currently managing and supporting enterprise and social portals worldwide.

Again I am uncertain and my attendance will be sudden so forward me what is left to present.

Camp in a nutshell

Sponsors did it a great by conducting the event in Lahore. The main motives behind it were from Islamabad mostly and local motives seems unorganized here. I will really appreciate Ikonomi here. The venue was good and we found it with a better facilities in terms of connectivity. But access to conference hall was very difficult. A number of known registrants went back as they could not find it. There was no proper guidence to lead attendees. The staff of UCP was even not well aware of this event. And at least we should have published organizer's contact details so that attendees can communicate with them in case of problem.

As for as different sessions, speakers were very good with their topics. But I can't rate the other sessions those were conducted for beginners as I was not there.

But I hope all these experiences will help us to improve the events in future.
