Announcing Zenophile 2.0

The 2.0 branch of the Zenophile module is now in the beta stage!

Have you heard of Zenophile? It's a simple module which automates the process of creating Zen subthemes - no more copying and editing files by hand. Just fill out a few form elements and click a button, and your new Zen subtheme is ready for you to start working with.

The new 2.0 branch is almost a complete rewrite of Zenophile. Its internal structure is now far more modular, which will make it far easier to write add-on modules which modify Zenophile's behavior. Included with Zenophile 2.0 is a submodule which serves as a functional example of this; the Zenophile Midnight module will add a set of stylesheets and images to your theme which which will make life easier for those who want to create themes with light-on-dark color schemes. It's an evolution of my Zen Midnight theme.

If you frequently use Zen to create themes for your sites, give Zenophile a try. It'll save you bundles of time and you'll never want to go back to copying files and search-and-replacing text ever again. And don't forget to report any bugs or suggestions in the issue queue. Thanks!
