This month we had three presentations as part of our Drupal Showcase, where Broward Drupal members show us how they built their latest Drupal sites.

We started the meeting by talking about the upcoming Florida DrupalCamp (http://fldrupalcamp.org/) that will be taking place at Florida Technical College in Orlando on April 20th. Someone even suggested having a carpool/bus from South Florida, which is a great idea.

Jay Epstein (@jeppy64) started talking about the Sunshine PHP conference that he attended last weekend in Miami where they had sessions (http://2013.sunshinephp.com/schedule/) on Symfony2 and twig . He also met the guys from FoxyCart. They have a shopping cart that integrates with Drupal (http://www.foxycart.com/features/integrations/drupal/foxypal) and they even have a Drupal module: http://drupal.org/project/foxycart. After talking about the conference, he demoed a site that will be launching soon. He started describing the content types used for the site and then he went on to talk about some of the modules: conditional fields, taxonomy menu, taxonomy menu block and Marketo.

Phil Smith (@SiliconValet) talked about his Panels based site http://realestatescorecard.com/. He used offsets in Views to for his layout. He also used the flex slider library for his site. We also talked about using the Quicktabs module.

Ben Groenevelt (@dropfoundry) talked about his site http://dpcedcenter.org/. He used the omega theme for his site. He also used the book module for navigation.
