Support Drupal By Voting for Our-Hometown!

Our-Hometown, Inc. has entered the 2009 Knight News Challenge for its work on bringing our customers new and improved newspaper website features using the Drupal Content Management System.

The Knight News Challenge is a contest run by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, which funds projects and ideas that advance quality journalism in this digital age.

Currently, Our-Hometown is the only Drupal based system for newspapers that is easy to install and use, and complete in terms of features and support. By entering this contest we hope to showcase the work we provide to all of our customers, bringing them the most up-to-date newspaper websites available. This system will allow newspapers to reduce their website costs, increase their website features, or go online for the first time all while making the process more user-friendly for non-developers.

This grant, should we receive it, will enable us to make most of our software available to all our clients and the industry as open source.
