I have recently had the pleasure of being introduced to Bob Hinrichs, and attended a meeting of his at the FUSE, and it was really great getting introduced to some very passionate people, who just love Drupal.
Just to give you a bit of background about myself, I am a Hosting Expert for a company named Perigon Networks, Inc. Under this umberalla there are a few brands in which we do hosting for specific CMS applications, and Drupal is one of them.
I have been doing this now for about 4 years and whenever I see a CMS community such as what Drupal has it really reminds me of when I started out with DotNetNuke. This community seems like it's on the verge of really great things and I want nothing more than to keep this feeling going.
This is exactly the type of atmosphere that I want to be a part of. I have been speaking with Bob now over the past few weeks about things we can do to help promote and get more people involved in these types of meetings.
I am excited to be a part of the Nebraska Drupalers and I think that there will be some rather cool things coming down the pipeline for these group meetings in Lincoln and in Omaha.
