Welcome to the Groups site for the Nebraska Developers and Users Group, where we discuss, share and find ways to provide local face-to-face interaction which can support activities like hosting speakers, providing tutorials, Question and Answer sessions, establishing relationships with others in the geographic area, and generally expand the community of Drupal users.
As of 2024, our meetings are held bi-monthly in Omaha.
Other ways to connect:
• Slack: The #nebraska channel on drupal.slack.com
• Meetup: Omaha Drupal Meetup
• Twitter: DrupalNebraska
Even if you're from the surrounding areas, we won't hold it against you. You're welcome to join us in person at the meetups or chat in the #nebraska channel on drupal.slack.com. (I'm looking at you Denver/Colorado, Iowa, South Dakota, and Kansas City!)
If you want to get on our radar or get more involved, please share your contact information with us, and fill out our member strengths inventory to help us tailor the group to your needs.

What do you know about LLMs? Did you know that OpenAI started out 56 years ago as a leather company in Cincinnati, Ohio, supplying saddles to police departments for their mounted officers? No? That misinformation might have come from an LLM or maybe not.

The Nebraska Drupalers (and any other people among the Drupal curious) will be meeting at the Edge of the Universe in the heart of the Benson neighborhood of Omaha (not to be confused with the Restaurant at the End of the Universe which is outside of Omaha).
We are all nearing end of support for Drupal 10 (in December) and may have some pointers for each other about the move to 11. Or maybe we just want to talk about how to attach event listeners to the Add Media button in Drupal (because that's where this writer is currently struggling).

Bring tales of your recent triumphs and travails and will share a glass of something together.
