Join us for an introduction to the Drupal CMS and best-practices strategies for using and developing Drupal sites on Monday May 13, 2013 from 2-4PM. Introduction to Drupal is a stand-alone, in-person workshop meant for anyone curious about Drupal and interested in learning how to approach Drupal in a sensible way. This is a great way to prepare to get the most out of DrupalCamp Twin Cities coming up in July. If you cannot make this date, we'll be running this workshop on June 7th as well -- check out the separate event post.
Introduction to Drupal takes place at:
Advantage Labs @ Intermedia Arts
2822 Lyndale Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN 55408
Visit the Introduction to Drupal workshop page on our site for full details and to register. Click on the “Register online” title in the right sidebar to fill out the registration form. We'll follow up with a reminder closer to the date of the workshop.
At this two-hour workshop we'll discuss:
- Basic Drupal structure, terminology and features
- Defining Drupal development team roles and responsibilities
- Outlining a Drupal site development process
- Finding and vetting Drupal developers
- Connecting with the Drupal community
- Finding local resources
This workshop is limited to 12 attendees. There will be plenty of time for questions. This is not a hands-on workshop; no computer is required.
