We started the meetup answering the questions of some of our new members.
Teo Vitkauskas presented best practices for developing locally and local dev environment setups on Windows, Linux and Mac. Below is a list of tools that Leo talked about, and where you can find them:

Teo also talked about Drupal Pro Dev Desktop on Ubuntu 12.04. We also talked about the flexslider module for responsive slideshows towards the end of the presentation.
