Does anyone have experience creating new product types, products, line items, content types for commerce so that one can add a product?
I can use the commerce kickstart, but I need to implement commerce via module install on an existing site. I might even be able to use you for a short while on the project for some of the heavier pieces or to jump start the site.

I was able to get a commerce
I was able to get a commerce site going with many of the Commerce Kickstart 2 features by poking at a sandbox version to see which module did what, and then installing them one or a couple at a time on my dev site.

Solution
New content types are assigned a link that is now showing up in the navigation menu and not in the user-menu. Reassign the new content type from navigation to user-menu.
