Unable to attend DrupalCon (http://portland2013.drupal.org)? Come join us at the Berkeley Drupal Users Group instead:
Berkeley Drupal Users Group: Monday, 5/20/13, 12-1:30pm
WHERE: UC Berkeley Campus: Barrows Hall 60 (basement room)
MAP: http://groups.drupal.org/berkeley/map
This session will be targeted toward those who are interested in getting their feet wet with Drupal theming.
Overheard at the Drupal water cooler:
1. I've created static websites using HTML and CSS, and I'm interested in learning a little about Drupal theming.
2. I've used contributed themes before, but I'd like to play around with my own CSS styles.
3. I've visited the Drupal Theming guide at drupal.org (http://drupal.org/documentation/theme), and I was completely overwhelmed. I don't need to become a theming expert, but I'd like to play around a bit.
If any of the above sound familiar, join us at BDUG on Monday.
Drupal theming is a deep topic, so you won't become a pro themer in one session, but the goal of this session is to provide a basic introduction to make Drupal theming less intimidating for those who are interested in getting their feet wet.
All are welcome, but this session will be targeted toward those new to Drupal theming. Feel free to bring your Drupal theming questions, which we can cover if time permits.
This session won't cover Sass/Compass, but if interested you can visit the slides/video from a previous BDUG session at: http://groups.drupal.org/node/243023.
Hope to see you there if you're not in Portland!
