Great news!
- .nz Registry Services (Jay Daley) sponsored $1000 + gst
- Egressive committed to $200 (with minor provisions) and ongoing logistics and hosting support
- I booked Mac's Brewery Bar Function Room for January 16 & 17 – the weekend before LCA
- I confirmed funds available from last DrupalSouth; $440
- I have a new plan to gather more sponsorship
- Chris and Dan have committed to working on updating the website
- Brenda and Josh are following up with Catalyst
- Signify responded "no" to sponsorship. Thanks for trying Kirill
Venue costs $990 + gst and will host up to 120 people. Invoice is not paid and contract is not signed yet, so don't tell too many people just yet.
Other costs will be;
- Venue expects min consumption of – I think – either $25/person/day or $5k total, not sure yet
- Venue provides projectors for $175 per day. We may be able to bring our own, not sure yet
- We might need some professional networkers to beef up the wifi
- Miscellaneous stuff depending on budget;
- possibly power cords (I think I and/or Brenda can source these for free)
