Finishing up quiz 4

Quiz 4 is now more or less feature complete, but it is probably very unstable. We could use help from the community in testing the module.

Any and all patches are off course very much appreciated as well!

It isn't very many open issues at the moment, but there will be a lot more when we start systematic testing of the module. I hope we will end up with a very stable and user friendly release as an early Christmas present for everyone using drupal for e-learning or the likes.

Friday update

The goal was to make new releases every Friday. This week we've only managed to put in a few hours of development time, so there's not much to release I'm afraid. I was originally supposed to be dedicated to Quiz until it was finished, but now I'm spending most of my time on other projects. Next week looks good at the moment, but I do fear that there will be other tasks coming my way for next week as well...

The biggest contribution this week is testing and a lot of well written issues by vegardjo. Thanks!

I hope to see even more activity in the issue list next week.

Hello, I have been using Joomla and decided to test Drupal because of this Quiz module that I heard from a friend..
My problem is that I can not see any link to download this Quiz module, could someone please tell me from were I can download it?
And is it possible in this quiz to do it like 2 of the answers have to be choosen to get correct answer?

Example question 2+2?=

answer 1 : 5-1 (correct)

answer 2 : 1+3 (correct)

answer 3 : 6-1 (false)

Forexample you have to click on both 1 and 2 to get correct. if you click on just one of them you get false

Yes it is possible. In the form where you create Multichoice questions you check for "Multiple answers" and for "Simple scoring".

(With "Simple scoring" the user gets full score if everything is correct and zero points otherwise. Without simple scoring the question creator can customize how the question is to be scored. The default is one point for each correct alternative that is chosen, and one point for each incorect alternative that isn't chosen)

alpha4 is out

Now quiz alpha 4 is out. A lot of bugs have been fixed since alpha 3, and a lot more will be.

Last minute changes to alpha 3 introduced major bugs in the scoring system. These have been sorted out, but the scoring system haven't been thoroughly tested yet.

Many problems with revisions have also been sorted out. Skipping is better, and a lot of minor bugs have been fixed.

When all known bugs are sorted out, and the module passes a brief testing of the most important features we will release a beta version.

I have only been able to work a few hours on quiz this week, and thus a new alpha won't make sense. My other project will be finished next week. After that I hope I can work with quiz full-time.

Alpha 5 is out

Now quiz alpha 5 is out.

A lot of bug reports have been resolved. There are only a few left. When there are no more bug reports left we will release a beta version.

Please help us by testing quiz alpha 5 and report any bugs you find in the issue list

Quiz 4 beta have been released.

At the moment all bug reports have been resolved.

We have had a lot of help from the community testing quiz 4.x. Thanks to all who have submitted bug reports!

The fact that there are no active bug reports on quiz 4.x does NOT mean that there are no bugs! We still need help tracking down and fixing the last bugs so that we can release a release candidate.

The aim for the upcoming release candidate is to be suited for production servers.

Beta 3 released

I just cut a beta 3 release. This release has some significant user experience improvements for the quiz creators, and should be more stable than beta 2.

Again we got A LOT of help from the community who submitted a lot of issues to the issue list. Thanks!

We still need more help though. Please submit any issues you find to the quiz projects issue list.

Vacation

Hi!

The development of the quiz module will probably slow down for a while. I'm going on a 4 - 5 weeks vacation starting today.

What is left before RC:
- Fix all issues
- Systematic testing of the module, and fix all bugs.

Any help finishing up quiz will be greatly appreciated!
